Cold rolled steel is produced by further processing hot rolled steel through cold reduction mills, followed by annealing and/or temper rolling. This process provides closer dimensional tolerances and a wider range of surface finishes.
To meet different end-use requirements, cold rolled steel can be supplied with properties such as high formability, deep drawability, enamelability, paintability, high strength, high dent resistance, and good magnetic performance where required.
Commercial and special grades are available according to EN, ASTM and JIS norms.
